Jose Betancourt a Cuban native and Marielena Betancourt a “Paisa” from Medellin Colombia have come together to form somewhat of a melting pot for Latin Americans living in the Mid-West. What once began as a convenience store now holds an extensive and exclusive selection of authentic products from Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Colombia; we also carry a variety of domestic labels including a great selection of imported and exported Wines, Beer and your everyday household needs. Another element that makes this a one stop kind of place is our Multi-Culture Catering Menu which consists of exquisite plates from places like Mexico, Puerto Rico and Colombia. We take great pride in being the home of the Asado Tolimense. . . After many years of selling the typical Lechona (from a region in Colombia called “El Tolima”) we made a few changes and came up with smaller version that we renamed “Asado Tolimense”.
